games.. .geeky… gadgets… and more games. April 30, 2010 at 10:25 am

Here’s another  game I’ve run across lately….

capture3-16-2010-24632-pm4-6-2010-24350-pmtiny castle – it’s a well done platform game.  You have to keep going and the level keeps changing as you go.  Thankfully it saves every so often so you don’t loose your place. Try it out it’s fun.

geekyness- iphone 4.0 is releasing an OS upgrade!!! and multitasking here we come.

gadgets – we now have a mac in the house!!! working on transferring data from Windows to Mac… not as easy as I thought.

And finally, one fun game to leave you with Atomic Puzzler.
This is one of those games you say.. just one more level… just one more level…

Along time ago in a galaxy far far away……. March 31, 2010 at 10:46 am

So I’ve been out of the blogosphere for awhile but I’m trying to come back with a bang!!! So without further ado I give you my 4G experience (yes I’m capitalizing on that term – 4G in my case is God, games, gadgets and geekery) :

God has been at work in my life for sure the last year, I can’t believe it’s been since June that I actually posted something!
God has a been there to strengthen me and comfort me during the hardest part of my job while I was traveling and working 60-70 hours a week.  I believe that God has given me the perseverance to make it through the hardest part of my job and he kept me away from blogging to keep from being complaining and to be negative.  So now that I’ve almost been at Dell/Perot (What you didn’t know that Dell bought Perot? Yeah that happened back in October) almost a year, I do enjoy my job and I enjoy the people I’m working with and what I’m doing for Dell/Perot.  I have learned a lot and still have a lot more to learn.

Here’s some of my favorite  games I’ve discovered over the last almost year. (more…)

fun little game May 7, 2009 at 4:02 pm

Found a fun little game let me know how far you get.  I’ve made it to level 9 or 10 and am stuck, but don’t forget to write down your code or you’ll have to go back through them again (trust me I know this for a reason)

More than just web games April 30, 2009 at 6:00 am

I am about more than just web games.  I’ve been playing games pretty much all my life.  Here’s a quick run down of my favorites on some of the different platforms I’ve played.

pc :

  • Half life
  • Half life 2
  • Return to castle wolfenstein
  • Jedi knight 2
  • Revolt
  • Uplink
  • Portal

Xbox games

  • Burnout
  • Burnout 3
  • Burnout Revenge

  • Wii-sports
  • Mario-cart

And a total GEEK puzzle web game – Clever waste of time

And here are three of my favorite downloadable flash games.

  • n-
  • crayon physics game –
  • toribash

I’ve also played many  games on Atari 2600, 5200, Commodore 64, Vic 20, Nintendo (8bit), Sega Genisis, and Playstation.

Three more fun web games February 17, 2009 at 3:29 pm

I’ve already run across three great games from the end of last week and beginning of this week.
screengrab2-17-2009-23000-pmFirst, is a sequel to one of the ones I featured in my  favorite webgames post,  Totem Destroyer 2. It has more features than the first. It’s still a puzzler where you are trying to bring down the totems but making sure your idol doesn’t hit the ground. But now there are a couple of new types of stone,  an exploding one and a unusual one.

screengrab2-17-2009-11512-pmSecond, is Roly Poly Cannon where you have an unlimited number of exploding cannon balls that you are using to try and send the Roly Polys on the meet their maker (they turn to angels when killed) Some of the shots you have to make are timing based and others are based on aim. Some require finesse while others require brute force (the farther away from the cannon you aim the harder and faster they shoot). It really is a  fun game, with some challenging levels.

screengrab2-17-2009-105221-amAnd the last one that I ran across today is simply called Block Drop Puzzle Game. It is a puzzle game where you are trying to get your diamond which you control with the arrows, to the checkered block. After you jump off a block it disappears into the water. It’s a relaxing easy going puzzler that does require you to think ahead or you won’t be able to make it to the goal.
