I can’t believe December is already here!!!! December 1, 2008 at 11:52 am

December is the last month of the year, and it’s today!!! I can’t believe it.  This year has gone by so fast. It seems like it was just alst week that Julia was born or the week before and D’Anna was pregnant!  It’s crazy!

So this past weekend was Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time!  We went to Abilene to spend Thanksgiving day with my parents and then on Friday went to Big Springs to spend it with D’Anna’s parents.  It was good family time.  Jacob really enjoyed spending time with his Grandmere and Papa (my parents), his Aunt Tami (my sis) and Memaw (my grandmother), his Grandma and Papaw (my in-laws), his aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Julia was in heaven, she was held the entire time and had people talking and playing with her.  She was such a cutie and she’s such a great baby.  It was a lot of fun!

Hope everyone else had as great of a Thanksgiving as I did.

  • Absolutely!!!! And some computer gaming and general geeking out. I helped my dad and uncle get a racing game called Grid up and running. I actually had to change some of the xml code in some of the configuration files to get it to work, (I must thank God for forums). I also did some seriously geeky stuff like help my sister get on my parents wifi and print to their printer, also did some troubleshooting on her laptop. All that and still had time to get started on 1642, which I love by the way!!!
  • I finished Frontlines 1 & 2 and it actually turned out really good. Some
    interesting outcomes that I think really add a lot to the overall Civil War
    story.
    As for the rest of your activities, I'm a bit overwhelmed. I helped my
    Father-in-law free up some hard drive space (he had about 24mb left open on
    a 30 gig hard drive). I finally figured out how to operate their humongo
    remote for the HD TV. But I mostly kept a low profile in the digital world
    during my break.
